What is a summary paragraph? Can this be one or is this too long?

yeah thats way too long. A summary paragraph should basically be your introduction to what your going to be talking about. You could start off with saying what DNA is, and you may also include the sentence about why we need DNA, and then begin the rest of your prargraph using that info.
