Is the i chi flat iron a real chi?

I got my i chi at JC Penny (around December 2009). It was like a holiday edition I think (it's a red flat iron). I'm not sure if it's a real chi or not. It cost about 170-190 dollars. What's the difference between a chi and an i chi if they are different? Is one better than the other?
