Spay surgery for JRT?
spaying a female dog does not change their behaviour .... it just makes them unable to get pregnant ... a males behaviour is affected due to testosterone and after neutering, there is less of it, which does affect behaviour to a degree ... when my dog was spayed, she was quiet the first day but by the second day i had to keep her crated because she wanted to run ... jack russells have a very high pain tolerance and i don't think you have anything to worry about after the surgery ... but she will remain high energy ... my jack is 12 years old and she still needs an hour of strenuous activity a day ... and when she was young it was more than double that to keep her calm and well behaved ... an under-exercised jrt is a destructive, barking, aggressive jrt ...
