Does the CHI Permanent Hair Straightening work?

My hair is really frizzy and every time I straightened it gets puffy from the back! Does anyone know if the chi permanent hair straightening works? I live in dallas texas I would like to know the price if anyone has an idea of how much it is here. Thank you(:
